I specialize in high fantasy, urban fantasy, gothic fiction, horror, mystery, thriller, and heist—either as standalone genres or in combination. I work with middle grade, young adult, and adult manuscripts.
I can also help you develop mystery or heist plots in other settings, including science fiction, historical fiction, alternate history, and dystopian or utopian worlds.

When you’re stuck, I can provide the right tools and explain how to apply them to your story and your unique writing style. While my specialties are fantasy and crime (including mystery, thriller, and heist), I also have extensive knowledge in plotting, story structure, scene construction, exposition, dialogue, character arcs, romantic subplots, humor and comic relief, "show, don’t tell," symbolism, and much more.

We’ll use Blueprint for a Book, a powerful tool that clarifies all the big-picture decisions behind your story so we can strengthen them together. You’ll receive thoughtful comments, an editorial letter highlighting the most important opportunities for improvement, and two hour-long follow-up calls where we’ll explore practical next steps.
